Cartridge Recycling

Recycling is a critical issue for both Videojet and our customers. That’s why our goal is to make our ink and other fluid products as sustainable as possible.

They are packaged in cardboard with materials harvested from sustainable forests, and this packaging can be easily recycled.

However, many customers don’t realize Videojet fluid cartridges are recyclable. The outer shell (polypropylene, PP, code 5) and inner bladder (high-density polyethylene, HDPE, code 2) are non-hazardous when empty. The aluminum septum cover (ALU, code 41) is also recyclable.

Here are resources to help you dispose of your ink cartridges safely and sustainably. We’ve created a guide to assist you in finding the best disposal method. For an even easier option, we’ve partnered with the recycling company, Close the Loop. Simply order a prepaid recycling box, fill it, and send it back—they’ll take care of the rest!
