New Videojet 4320 inkjet Addressing System Prints High-resolution Text, Images at Production Line Speeds
For Immediate Release
WOOD DALE, Ill. (USA) – September 21, 2007 – The new Videojet® 4320 inkjet addressing and imaging system from Videojet Technologies Inc. is an easy-to-use, efficient and cost-effective choice for commercial printers, mailing/fulfillment houses and newspapers seeking high print resolution at production line speeds. With print resolution up to 600 dpi and expandable printhead configurations from 2 to 8 inches, in 2 or 4 inch increments, the Videojet 4320 can print promotional messages, coupons, graphics and spot color, as well as basic eight-line addresses. A unique bulk ink delivery system can reduce running costs by more than 50 percent compared with similar printers.
“The Videojet 4320 inkjet system offers USB data transmission, providing the industry’s most reliable data transfer rate,” says Jason Lund, Videojet graphics product manager. “The Videojet 4320’s four operating modes provide a variety of print qualities and speeds, making it a system that can seamlessly evolve with a printer’s current and future needs.”
To ensure compatibility with a wide variety of list preparation and maintenance packages for mailing lists, the Videojet 4320 uses Microsoft® Office Access and is LAN-ready, making it a solid choice for integrated mail needs. Incorporating durable and economical HP inkjet cartridges, the system uses Windows® TrueType fonts, and allows for bitmap creation, storage and imaging of scanned graphics and logos. Five ink colors are available – black, red, yellow, blue and green – along with differentiated inks, such as high optical density solutions.
Performance of the Videojet 4320 is optimized further by using Videojet paper handling equipment, offering high performance in vacuum-transport and friction-feed technology. The Videojet 4320 also can be configured to print directly on webs or add variable data in combination with continuous-form laser printers. Snap-in heads simplify use and maintenance.
