V470 is a color change black to blue thermochromic ink qualified for use in the Videojet 1000 Line of continuous inkjet printers. It is a fast-dry, no-MEK general purpose black ink. It has good code durability through the rigorous cooking/retort process and good adhesion to a variety of metal, plastic, and glass substrates.

Applications for V470-D and V470-K
V470 ink is ideal for coding onto processed food containers including lacquered/tin-free aluminum and tin-plated metal cans, flexible pouches, plastic bowls, trays, and glass jars. This ink can be used to print onto packaging for foods that typically require a retort process after filling, including vegetables, beans, fruit, soup, salsa, sauces, tomato, baby food, meat/fish, and ready-to-eat meals.

Secondary Applications:
Food, pharma, and other customers that wish to reduce various solvent plant emissions, including those with a particular sensitivity to MEK.
