V4275 is a thermochromic MPK/ethanol, dark green/black to blue ink qualified for use in the 1580 and 1860 continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers. It survives the rigors of continuous flow retort cooking processes, producing easy to distinguish blue color codes. The initial color can vary depending on the substrate.

Applications for V4275-D and V4275-L
This ink is ideal for coding and marking aluminum and steel cans, glass jars, and plastic cups that are processed by retort or autoclave typically used to preserve vegetables, beans, fruit, soup, sauces, baby food, meat, fish, ready-to-eat meals, and pet food. This ink meets food manufacturer’s in-house quality control processes and standard work specifying a visual management tool to help validate that products have passed through their critical retort cooking processes. It may also be used in food or pharmaceutical applications where the customer would like to reduce solvent plant emissions such as MEK and acetone.
