V4274 is a thermochromic MPK/Ethanol black to blue ink qualified for use in the Videojet 1580 and 1860 continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers. This ink is ideal for penetrating the toughest surface deposits that may occasionally be present on cans processed on food filling lines (e.g., soup). It then can also survive the rigors of continuous flow retort cooking processes, producing legible blue codes with high OCR read rates.

Applications for V4274-D and V4274-L
This ink is used for coding and marking food containers prior to the retort processes, which is used to preserve vegetables, beans, fruit, soup, sauces, baby food, meat/fish, ready-to-eat meals and pet food. It may also be used in food or pharmaceutical applications where the customer would like to reduce certain solvent plant emissions (e.g. MEK).
V4274 delivers excellent adhesion on aluminum, polystyrene, steel, and paper board.
