V4259 is an invisible fluorescent general purpose MEK ink qualified for the 1580 and 1860 CIJ printers. This ink is ideal for use in high-speed applications such as paperboard, plastic, and metal substrates for covert coding. It is specially designed to be invisible to an unaided eye and become fluorescent blue when activated by ultraviolet (UV) light.

Applications for V4259-D and V4259-L
Typically used by high-speed (3000/min) can/bottle/package manufacturers to apply production tracking codes to containers that are later sold to and filled by food packagers. End products are sometimes retorted, pasteurized, or heat processed after filling. It is suitable for reliable 2D codes on dark color substrates.
This ink is also used as a means to unobtrusively code and track products though the distribution chain. It is especially practical where the available package/label area is limited.
V4259 delivers excellent adhesion on acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polystyrene, steel, and paper board.
No MEK/Low VOC (V930) and no Drug Precursor (V940) cleaners are available.
