V4258 is Pink Fluorescent general purpose MEK ink qualified for use in the 1580 and 1860 continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers. This ink is ideal for use in high-speed applications across a wide array of market applications. It is specially designed to be both visible for human readability and fluorescent for machine readability when activated by ultraviolet (UV) light.

Applications for V4258-D and V4258-L
Well-suited for paper, paperboard, plastic, and metal substrates for automotive part marking, postal bar coding, pharmaceutical serialization, and track and trace solutions. A typical reader system is comprised of a camera (e.g. Cognex), DVT intellect software, 25mm lens and 590nm band pass filter. Various methods of illumination (@365nm) may be used to “excite” the fluorescent dye and enable it to fluoresce. Fast illumination response time means codes can be read and captured on high-speed production lines.
V4258 delivers excellent adhesion on acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), glass, polystyrene, steel, nylon, and paper board.
