U.S.-based employees receive a comprehensive compensation program that consists of pay and benefits. With our salary plan, you are eligible for annual salary reviews and promotional opportunities based on performance. With our flexible benefits plan, you choose the benefits that make the most sense for you.
Medical Plan
VTI associates choose the medical option that meets their needs or opt out of the plan all together. Your choices include: an 80/20 PPO plan, a 90/10 PPO plan and an HMO option that is available to Chicago, IL-area associates. As an enrolled member of one of the medical plans listed above, associates can also obtain limited vision benefits.
Dental Plan
The dental plan helps pay the cost of dental care services for you and your covered family members. Coverage is the same between Participating and Non-Participating Providers. Dental plan benefits include Preventative Care, Basic Services (fillings, extractions, root canals), Major Services (bridges, crowns), and Orthodontia (for all ages).
Vision Plan
VTI associates are offered vision coverage through a qualified all volunteer plan that provides benefits for eye exams, glasses and corrective lenses via a national network of private practice optometrists and ophthalmologists. Providers in the plan offer full services, from performing eye exams to dispensing eyewear for convenient one-stop service in all 50 states.
Flexible Spending Account
Set aside money on a pre-tax basis for certain un-reimbursed health care expenses, and/or the costs of dependent care.
PTO (Paid Time Off)
PTO time starts to accrue on your date of hire. Associates are eligible to start taking your PTO time after 90 days of service. This time is inclusive of all possible discretionary time off (vacation, sick, floating holiday). This plan is based on a calendar year basis. New hires would receive 16 days of PTO (prorated at time of hire) and increases for more years of service.
Retirement Savings Plan
This is a terrific way to save for your retirement – tax-free! Our savings plan lets you set aside a percentage of your income (up to 75% up to the annual IRS $ limit) in a wide variety of investment options, as well as a Danaher Stock Fund a pre-tax basis! Interest and investment earnings also accrue tax-deferred.
What makes this plan even more attractive is that we will match your 401(k) contributions a certain percentage of your contributions. This match will start after one year of employment with VTI. Matching contributions are vested immediately.
In addition, after one year of service, the Company will contribute a percentage on your eligible pay (base, bonus, commissions and overtime) each pay date to this Savings Plan account on your behalf for retirement. You choose how to invest all contributions made to your account. You are vested in these base retirement plan contributions after 3 years of employment with Videojet.
Finally, if you have previously participated in another employer’s 401(k) plan, you may roll your account balance into this plan (excluding any prior plan Roth or after-tax contribution amounts).
