Q: Where do you beat the competition?
A: Arguably at every stage. Our code is proprietary and extremely flexible, yet we’re happy to work with clients’ own codes. We design and produce our own printers, and we offer the widest suite in the industry. Our software has “grown up” with our printers, and it does everything we ask. For cameras, we source only the best – Cognex® – and have a long-standing primary-supplier relationship with the company. And our capacity to track your product into the marketplace and back is achieved by industry-standard web-based programs. Finally, we have the human capital to back it all up: the most experienced project management, marketing, design, installation and service people, and the largest service fleet in the Track & Trace industry. We’ve got you covered.
Q: Is the company solid?
A: Extremely. Videojet has been in business for more than 30 years, and its roots go back to the AB Dick printing company. It is part of the $11 billion Danaher Corporation. We’re sticking around.
Q: Why Track & Trace now? And why not implement an in-house solution?
A: Because you’re going to need Track & Trace soon, and because Track & Trace is our expertise. Although government bodies globally have allowed some delay in implementing ePedigree regulations and other product-tracking mandates, those days are coming to an end. California’s ePedigree laws will be a powerful precedent.
But even in the absence of governmental pressure, Track & Trace is a good idea: done right, it simply saves you money. And if done by Videojet, it’s done right. Our solutions are industry-standard, completely scalable with your business, minimally invasive in the installation and will remain deeply integrated within your manufacturing and database processes well into the future. |
