European Regulation Mandates Braille on Pharmaceutical Packaging
A European Commission Directive now requires that all pharmaceuticals intended for human use have important information printed in Braille on the secondary packaging. While Braille on packaging is not yet a requirement in the United States, it is a good idea for U.S.-based companies to be well-informed on the best practices of Braille printing in preparation for the possibility of a similar regulation being passed in the United States sometime in the future.
